Get your Hoot on! That’s the catch-cry of cult Australian children’s wear label, Hootkid. A mish-mash of colours and styles with bags of personality; Hootkid is all about making kid’s fashion affordable, entertaining and totally outrageous.
Inspired by kids ‘just having fun’, Hootkid was founded by Caroline Marvelli, a savvy Melbourne businesswoman with years of fashion experience gained as a buyer for some of Australia’s biggest and best retailers. Caroline wanted to craft a new generation of edgy street wear and accessories for children that said, “This is me – I may be a kid but I still know how to be fashionable, individual, and FUNKY!” After all, that’s what Hootkid’s ethos is about – letting kids be kids and bringing fun into their lives!
Hootkid is loud and proud for what it has achieved since its inception in 2011 and is spreading it’s FUN FEARLESS FASHION message across the country. The brand is proving itself as the must-have collection for a range of top children’s fashion boutiques across Australia and abroad, as well as garnering attention from some of the country’s top children’s fashion magazines, mainstream print media, television shows (pieces worn throughout Channel 9’s House Husbands season 2), celebrity bloggers and most recently spotted on Knox Jolie Pitt (son of Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt)
Each design is hand-crafted using quality fabrics in a kaleidoscope of bright colours, bold patterns, beautiful prints and an array of trimmings. All have been individually designed by Caroline with her keen eye for making functional, durable and comfortable kid’s fashion for the mini fashionistas aged 1-8 years old.
